Enjoy an evening of romance and the tastes of Italy as we celebrate Valentine’s Day with a free dinner and dancing. This event is co-sponsored by the HCC Alumni Association and SGA. Philadelphia Flower Show Bus Trip – March 5, 2008, 7:00 a.m., Leaving from HCC Parking Lot K3.
Visit the Pennsylvania Horticulture Society’s Annual Flower Show. Enjoy the Show theme: “Jazz it Up,” as the event celebrates New Orleans and its contributions to our culture. Cost $65 per person. 14th Annual HCC Alumni Association Flower & Garden Show - March 15 & 16, 2008, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., HCC ARCC.
More than one hundred exhibitors will take part in our flower show themed “Celebrate Spring,” which again promises to be the tri-state area’s premier event! Participants include: nurseries, distributors of lawn and garden equipment, pottery and statuary, pools, landscaping, tree services, water ponds, stone products, herbs and violets, outdoor furniture, florists, wild bird products, and natural gourmet gifts from the garden. One of the most unique elements of our Show is the opportunity shared by visitors to meet, learn, and network with other gardening experts. Regional Extension Agents, as well as nature specialists, will also be on hand to answer questions throughout the Show. Seminars and demonstrations will be presented continuously each day to add to the educational element of our event. Special gardening activities will be offered for children. A garden café will be available where attendees can purchase food and drink. Show Admission is $4 for adults, children under 12 are free. Parking is also free. All proceeds benefit the HCC Alumni Amphitheater.
HCC Alumni Association Cash Bonanza - April 11, 2008, Doors Open 5:30 p.m., Elks Lodge #378, Robinwood Drive.
Featuring: a complete chicken dinner, unlimited beer & soda DJ & dancing, chance to win $1,000 in cash. The cost is $40.00 per couple. The Bonanza works as follows: 1st & every 20th ticket drawn wins $40,the last ticket drawn wins $1,000, Ticket #1 will be chanced off and put into the final five, tip jars will be sold, door prizes will be awards, the event will include balloon pops and 50/50 drawings . New York City Bus Trip - April 26, 2008, 6:30 a.m., Leaving from HCC Parking Lot K3.
Enjoy a springtime day in New York City. Luxury Bus delivered us to Manhattan and picks us up 8 hours later where we will enjoy a “day on our own,” to shop, sightsee, and take in the city.
