| Enrollment in the CVT Program has increased by 42 percent since
2005. The local demand for professional truck drivers continues
to grow. Because of this extraordinary growth, the CVT Program has
outgrown its classroom and training space. While the CVT Program
recently received $1.65 million from the U.S. Department of Labor,
most of this money is being used to purchase trucks, hire more CVT
faculty and staff, and purchase a computerized driving simulator.
Additional monies are needed to support the purchase of three modular
buildings.
