| The HCC Foundation is a partner in this community campaign
with the opportunity to receive a dollar-for-dollar match for $800,000
raised in new money, resulting in a $1.6 million endowment. Funds
remain in the Community Foundation of Washington County, MD for
use by HCC.
Benefits of the Project
- Income from HCC’s account will establish a funding stream
that will support a new teaching and learning excellence fund.
This new fund will focus upon the development of new curricula
and expansion into new and innovative instructional designs, including
the application of the latest teaching and learning technologies.
- Interest income will also support student financial assistance.
Needs of the Project
- $800,000 in corporate and private donations to ensure that
HCC receives the additional $800,000 in matching funds
