Students who are interested in these programs should first do their own personal search into the career goal they hope to meet. At HCC, students have access to academic resources that can provide information on what specific steps are needed to reach their goal. Students have access to the college’s Career Programs Department, where students can perform research on their chosen career goal. Students can access up-to-date statistics on health sciences careers, salary projections, job responsibilities, and careers advancement opportunities that can provide more growth in the specific career field. Another resource for students attending HCC is to visit the Office of Academic Advising. Academic Advisors on staff can provide students guidance to what courses they should take and design an academic and career plan to follow towards reaching their career goals.
