What Do I Need When I Want to Transfer??
- Review HCC’s Academic Advising Transfer
Information regarding your transfer options.
- Obtain official “sealed” college
transcripts from all colleges that you attended.
- Collect all college applications from all your desired college
institutions and be cognizant of their submission deadline dates.
- Select at least three college institutions that you would like
to apply to.
- Visit your college choices during class sessions, to ensure
that you made a good choice. * Speak to currently enrolled students
to obtain various views about the college.
- Schedule an appointment with a college advisor or counselor
to discuss your program options and the transferability
and applicability
of your college credits.
- Make sure you meet the minimum amount of transfer credits and
grade point average to apply to your desired schools.
- Complete admission application and have someone review your
admissions statement
for attendance for any grammatical errors.
- Obtain reference letters for faculty and or employers early!!
- Send in your college materials by their deadline dates and
request if needed grades not yet posted to be sent at a later
date to your desired college institutions.
