BIO-099 Biology for Allied Health
Discipline:
Biology (BIO) This is a preparatory course designed for students who plan to enroll in BIO 103, Anatomy and Physiology I. It is recommended for students who have not passed the A & P placement exam. The course reviews basic principles of cell biology, transport, chemistry, molecules of life, and basic math skills with applications to biology and chemistry. Reading, writing, and study skills are emphasized throughout the course. 45 contact hours. Prerequisites: MAT 098 and ENG 098. Semesters offered: Fall, Spring, Summer. 3 Credits.
