BIO-106 Unity and Diversity of Living Things
Discipline:
Biology (BIO) This is a one semester introductory life science course with laboratory for non-science majors. Basic cell biology and biochemistry common to all living things are presented. Major groups of organisms are surveyed including their genetics, bioenergetics, evolutionary relationships and ecological niches. Laboratory fee required. 45 hours of lecture and 45 hours of lab. Prerequisite: ENG 099 or appropriate score on placement test. Semesters offered: Fall, Spring, Summer. 4 Credits.
