CHM-103 General Chemistry I
Discipline:
Chemistry (CHM) This course is the first semester of a two-semester sequence for science majors and pre-professional students with strong backgrounds in chemistry and math. It presumes a working knowledge of dimensional analysis, chemical formulas and nomenclature, stoichiometry, gas laws and solutions. Laboratory fee required. 45 hours of lecture and 45 hours of lab. Prerequisites: CHM 101 or high school chemistry. Co-requisite: MAT 101 or higher or appropriate score on placement test. Semesters offered: Fall, Spring. 4 Credits.
