EDU-114 The Developing Child
Discipline:
Education (EDU) This course focuses on the social, physiological and psychological growth and development of young children from birth through age eight. Assessment of young children and factors influencing development are included. This course satisfies 45 hours of the 90 hour course requirement for senior staff as defined by the Maryland State Department of Education, Office of Child Care. A 10-hour Field Experience outside of class time is required. Total 45 hours of lecture. Prerequisite: ENG 100 or placement into ENG 101. Semesters offered: Fall, Spring. 3 Credits.
