HST-103 Intro to Human Services and Social Work
Discipline:
Human Services (HST) This course provides an overview of the philosophies, attitudes, and approaches to the field of human services. Emphasis is placed on the historical and theoretical development of coordinated service to persons in-need in American society. Additionally, an introduction to the profession of Social Work is given special attention. Local agencies are visited and reported on by students. Total of 45 hours of lecture. Semesters offered: Fall, Spring. 3 Credits.
