HST-207 Social Work With Individuals
Discipline:
Human Services (HST) This course focuses on the generalist approach to social work practice. Students are introduced to basic social work values, ethics, and generic skills. An ecological/systems framework and problem-solving model are utilized. Using the strength perspective, emphasis is on the assessment of individual needs. Field time is required. Total 45 hours of lecture. Prerequisites: HST 103 and PSY 201. Semester offered: Fall. 3 Credits.
