IST-134 Introduction to JAVA Programming
Discipline:
Information Systems Technology (IST) This course provides students with a basic understanding of the principles of JAVA Programming. It covers syntax, structure and emphasizes problem solving techniques. Students create programs using input/output statements; if, while, do while, and for-loop logic structures; arrays, functions, and basic object-oriented programming techniques. Students will be able to recognize and correct common programming errors. Course fee required. Prerequisite: IST 102 and MAT 101 or consent of TCS Division. Semester offered: Spring. 3 Credits.
