MAT-108 Fundamental Concepts of Mathematics II
Discipline:
Mathematics (MAT) This course is required for the AAT program (Elementary Education). Topics include use of the graphing calculator and statistical software, understanding geometry coordinates and systems. The relation between algebra and geometry is established with an emphasis on probability and statistics. Students use appropriate software for visualization and understanding. Total of 45 hours of lecture. Prerequisite: MAT 101 or appropriate score on placement test. Semesters offered: Fall and Spring. 3 Credits.
