NUR-121 Certified Nursing/Geriatric Assistant
Discipline:
Nursing (NUR) This course prepares the student to effectively implement the nursing care plan for client populations with health alterations while utilizing professional standards of practice. Content includes disease processes, systems review, nutrition, and infection control. Community facilities provide settings for clinical experience that is focused on skill competencies. Total of 70 hours of lecture, 30 hours of laboratory, and 60 hours of clinical. Laboratory fee required. Prerequisite: ENG 099 and MAT 098. Semesters offered: Fall, Spring, Summer. 7 Credits.
