NUR-228 Contemporary Trends in Nursing and Leadership

This seminar course is designed to help the student transition into professional nursing practice. Current trends in nursing and concepts related to the nurse as a member of the health care team and manager of patient care will be discussed. Topics will include leading and managing, working within an organization, and professional issues and trends. A grade of 75% or above must be attained in this course. Total of 30 hours of lecture. Course fee required. Prerequisites: NUR 126 and NUR 226. Semesters offered: Fall, Spring. 2 Credits.
