PSY-203 Educational Psychology

This course surveys current psychological research and theory to address issues of teaching and learning. Instruction focuses on developmental theories, learning theories, instructional approaches, motivation, classroom management, and other relevant topics. Students are required to participate in a fifteen hour field experience in a local school. Total of 45 hours of lecture. Prerequisite: PSY 201, EDU-101 or EDU-103 or permission of instructor. Semesters offered: Fall, Spring. 3 Credits.
