Steps for taking HCC Distance Education Credit Courses

1. Check the course requirements in the schedule or on the HCC Web site. Make sure that you have met the academic and technical requirements for each distance education course for which you wish to register.
2. Register for your courses in person, fax, mail-in or Web Advisor .
3. Purchase textbooks from the bookstore.
4. Read the Distance Education Student Handbook.

Steps for taking HCC Continuing Education Online Courses

1. Select the course you for which you wish to register at www.ed2go.com/hagerstown.
2. On the complete course description page, check your prerequisites and requirements and then click 'register for this course.'
3. Fill out the registration page and click 'submit,' and a form will be emailed to you.
4. Print the online registration form that is emailed to you and forward it with your payment to the HCC Continuing Education office. Registrations should be completed one week in advance of the class start date to allow for orientation.
