HCC's Music Program prepares students who wish to transfer to colleges and universities that offer bachelor's degree programs in music and music education. Courses in music theory, musicianship and music pedagogy, as well as ensemble participation and applied lessons make up the core of the music option. Students graduating from HCC with an associate of arts with an option in music or music education will be well prepared to transfer to another college as a junior.
