Message from the Director

On behalf of Hagerstown Community College (HCC) nursing program, I welcome your interest in our nursing program.

As our community, state ,and nation struggle to cope with the significant nursing shortage, HCC is making significant contributions aimed at increasing both the number and quality of our nursing graduates.

We continue a more than 35 year tradition of educating nurses who improve patient care at the bedside and in the community in an increasingly complex health care system. Many of our nursing students pursue higher degrees in nursing and healthcare.

It is an exciting time for the HCC nursing program as we change with the times, continuously improve our educational program and partner with others in the community to improve nursing education and, thus, patient care outcomes.

It is a wonderful time to be a nurse and to be involved in nursing education. Please join us as we look forward to having you share in our rich legacy and promising future.
