Hagerstown Community College has maintained
accreditation by the
Middle
States Association of Colleges and Schools since its first
review in 1968. This accreditation, or “seal of approval,”
signifies that HCC meets rigorous academic standards, as judged
by peer educational institutions.
The
Commission on Higher Education is the unit of the Middle
States Association of Colleges and Schools that accredits degree-granting
colleges and universities in the Middle States region.
