HCC is reviewed at least once every
ten years to ensure it is meeting the standards outlined in Middle
States’ Characteristics of Excellence in Higher Education:
Eligibility Requirements and Standards for Accreditation. Middle
States accredited institutions do not need to question the quality
of credits earned at other accredited institutions. Therefore, the
Middle States accreditation is extremely important to students who
wish to transfer their college credits from one educational institution
to another.
