Arts and Sciences Option in History Education
A.A. Degree
This option is designed to provide the basis of the required general
education and history courses needed at most baccalaureate institutions
when teaching history is the student’s goal upon graduation.
With the possible exception of HIS 203, 207 and 208, all of the
history courses should fulfill the foundation and allow a transferring
student from HCC to begin taking upper level history courses immediately.

Electives 14-15 Credits Electives should be selected in consultation with a transfer advisor and the transfer institution. It is recommended that they include courses in history, government, anthropology, sociology, psychology and economics.
