HCC names 2005 Hall of Fame inductees

HCC recently held its 13th annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. Four former Hagerstown Junior College student athletes and a former athletic academic advisor were honored as the 2005 inductees.

HCC graduates ’05 Radiography Class

Twenty-four Hagerstown Community College students were honored as the Class of 2005 of HCC's radiography program at the radiography banquet held recently.

Training Quality Dementia Care Works course offered

A day-long course for health care providers entitled “Train the Trainer: Training Quality Dementia Care Workers,” sponsored by HCC's Center for Continuing Education, will take place Tuesday, August 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Valley Mall Center.

Devilbiss earns doctorate

HCC faculty member Connie Devilbiss, professor of sociology, recently received her second earned doctorate. Devilbiss was awarded a D.Min. (Doctor of Ministry) degree from Wesley Theological Seminary in commencement ceremonies held at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.

Two patriotic concerts at HCC

The events are co-sponsored by the HCC Alumni Association, Joint Veteran's Council of Washington County and AMVETS Post 10 of Hagerstown.

Robinwood Players perform “Into The Woods”

Hagerstown Community College’s Robinwood Players will present a Summer Theater production of “Into The Woods” on Friday, July 15, and Saturday, July 16, at 8 p.m. at the HCC Alumni Amphitheater.

Dog Care and Training course offered

HCC's Center for Continuing Education presents a new course for dog owners who want to know more about the care and training of their dog. “Introduction to Dog Care and Training” will be held Tuesday evenings beginning July 12 through August 8 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the HCC Valley Mall Training

Hagerstown Community College’s College For Kids summer program still has openings for several week-long classes for kids in grades 1 through 12.
