HCC’s Center for Continuing Education recognized

HCC’s Center for Continuing Education was cited in March as one of the top 25 providers of online courses by ed2go, a national supplier of online training. HCC ranked twenty-first out of 1200 partners offering online classes.

Matthew Lesko to speak

Matthew Lesko, probably better know as the “free money guy from TV,” will speak at Hagerstown Community College on Thursday, May 4, at 6:30 p.m. in the College Center.

Guys and Dolls to be performed

Hagerstown Community College’s Robinwood Players will perform the Broadway classic “Guys and Dolls” on Friday, May 5 and Saturday, May 6, at 7:30 p.m. in Kepler Theater.

HCC students participate in Balloon Payload Project

Seven student-crafted payloads, one helium-filled rawinsonde balloon, one command module for tracking and a parachute for descent traveled 101 miles recently from Clear Spring to Port Deposit, MD, during a Balloon Payload Project (BPP) sponsored by the Maryland Space Grant Consortium.
