Kids can get an insider's look at the circus this summer

Participants will learn about circus animals and musical instruments, star in a circus parade, see what a day in the life of a clown is like, and eat yummy circus foods.

College for Kids offers popular fiction-themed courses

Hagerstown Community College’s College for Kids summer program for grade school students is offering kids with a passion for reading the chance to explore their favorites during week-long classes held on the main campus of HCC.

The Hagerstown Community College Alumni Association recently announced the concert schedule for HCC’s Red, White and Blue Summer Concert Series. All concerts are free, open to the public, and will be held in HCC’s Alumni Amphitheater.

HCC announces spring 2007 dean's list

Hagerstown Community College recently announced its 2007 dean's list recipients. In order to be eligible for the dean's list, students must be enrolled full-time (12 credits or more a semester) and must maintain a G.P.A. of 3.5 or higher.

College for Kids offers class for animal lovers

HCC’s College for Kids summer enrichment program is offering kids going into first, second and third grades the opportunity to plunge into the animal world with a week-long course titled “All About Animals.” This class will meet June 25 through 29 and again July 30 through August 3.

HCC Alumni Association presents 2007 Community Citation Award

Cassandra P. (Moser) Weaver, HCC Class of 1992, was presented the 2007 HCC Alumni Association Community Citation Award at HCC’s recent Honors Convocation. This award confers special recognition to a 15-year graduate of HCC for volunteer service to the community.

The public is invited to three free outdoor movie events, sponsored by Hagerstown Community College’s Student Government Association and the Washington County Recreation Department, this summer.
