HCC holds 15th annual golf tournament

Cost is $125 per person and includes cart and greens fees, cart lunch, snacks, refreshments, buffet dinner catered by Outback Steakhouse, and individual and team prizes. Participants will also have chances to win a new automobile, cash, cruise and airline tickets, Bahamas vacation, gift certificates, golf equipment and more.

HCC to present "Taming of the Shrew" in amphitheater

The Robinwood Players will present this age-old “love story” as a comedic farce in which Bianca, the daughter of a wealthy merchant in 16th century Italy, wants to marry. Her father won’t give his permission until Bianca’s shrewish sister Kate marries first. That’s where Petruchio comes in. He’s willing to marry Kate, but first he’ll have to “tame” her.

College for Kids holds “Girls Scene”

Girls going into grades five through seven can get tips on how to look their back-to-school best during “Girls Scene,” offered through Hagerstown Community College’s College for Kids program, on Friday, July 27, from 1 to 4 p.m.
