College for Kids offers engineering program for girls

Hagerstown Community College’s College for Kids program is offering a course specifically geared toward girls entering grades six through eight who are interested in science, technology, engineering, and math.

The Alzheimer’s Association estimates that nearly 5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease, the most common form of dementia. This seminar will discuss physical and behavioral symptomlogy of dementia, recent research and studies and provide information to help caregivers provide the best quality of life for the person with dementia.

HCC’s Center for Continuing Education is offering a one-day course on the art of fly fishing on Sat., May 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Devil’s Backbone Park in Washington County.
