HCC's Student Activities Office is hosting a free Lunch 'n Learn session from 12 noon to 12:45 p.m. in the Student Center.

This week's topic, "Learning Sign Language" will be led by Disability Support Services Advisor Katie Dyke.

This event is free and is open to all students. Students are encouraged to bring their own lunches but snacks and drinks will be provided. For more information, email the Student Activities Office at hbbarnhart@hagerstowncc.edu.

This week's topic, "There's no 'F' in Library - Exploring Library Resources" will be led by librarian LuAnn Fisher. Fisher will discuss library resources available to HCC students.

This week's topic, "Here to Help: HCC Tutoring Centers" will be led by instructional assistant Marti Grahl. Grahl will discuss the many tutoring options available to HCC students.

HCC offers Civil War seminar in October

The Continuing Education and Community Services Division at Hagerstown Community College is offering a half-day seminar, “Civil War 1861: The Country Disintegrates,” on Sat., Oct. 15, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, in the Career Programs Building on HCC’s main campus.

HCC receives $650,000 grant for cybersecurity training

Hagerstown Community College received notice today that it has been awarded a $650,000 grant from the National Science Foundation to prepare students for careers in the growing field of cybersecurity.
