Nursing majors: New TEAS dates available

Additional time slots are now available for students who wish to take the TEAS test. Sessions will be held in the Advanced Technology Center (ATC) on Tues., Jan. 3 and Wed., Jan. 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.

Winter Break will be held from Dec. 23 through Jan. 2, 2012. HCC will close at 12 noon on Fri., Dec. 23 and remain closed through Mon., Jan. 2. The college will reopen Tues., Jan. 3.

Veterans' Info Day

Veterans' Info Day

Hagerstown Community College will host an information session for active duty military, veterans, and their families on Fri., Jan. 6, at 10 a.m. in the Elliott Center.

During the free session, attendees will get an overview of HCC, including information on veterans’ benefits, academic advising, financial aid, disability services, and the student-run veterans’ club. Tours of campus will be available.

Half of all undergraduate students in Maryland are now enrolled in community colleges. In an effort to help increase the number of students who successfully complete their programs of study, faculty and administrators at Hagerstown Community College recently participated in the second annual Summit on Completion, hosted by the Maryland Association of Community Colleges.     

HCC to offer meditation course
