Nationally-known instructor returns to HCC to host workshop

In October 2012, the Continuing Education and Community Services Division at Hagerstown Community College will once again host nationally-known instructor Denise Schlegel, who will offer her grant-writing workshop, “Grant Writing – Show Me the Money ©.”

Free Hip-Hop Dance Workshop

Outdoor Adventure Club Hike

Outdoor Adventure Club Hike

The Outdoor Adventure Club will take part in its first hike on Sun., Sept. 30. The club will be hiking the northnernmost section of the Tuscarora Trail where it meets the Appalachian Trail in Pennsylvania. This is a 13-mile, moderate hike. Everyone will meet in front of the Learning Resource Center (LRC) at 7 a.m.

This event is free and is open to all students. Students are required to sign a waiver of liability prior to attending. To download a copy of the waiver, please click the link below. Bring the waiver with you on the hike and turn it in to club advisor Bernie Murphy.

Fall Transfer Fair held Oct. 11

The annual Fall Transfer Fair will be held on Thurs., Oct. 11, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Career Programs Building. A number of colleges will be available to meet with students. Free and open to the public.
