12th Annual Turkey Trot

HCC, in partnership with Food Resources, Inc., will hold its 12th Annual Turkey Trot on Thurs., Nov. 22, beginning at 8:30 a.m., at the ARCC.

This year’s event will feature a 5K run/walk for adults, the “Mashed Potato Race” for children between the ages of three and 10, and a food drive. All Turkey Trot participants are asked to bring two or more canned or nonperishable goods to be donated to the Community Food Bank Warehouse. Participants who donate canned goods will be entered for a chance to win one of five grand prizes.

Dress in your goulish best and don't miss out on the fun of this year's student Halloween party, The Graveyard Gala. The dance will be Friday, Oct. 26, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the Student Center. The dance is for HCC credit students plus one guest age 16 or older. There will be a professional DJ, great food, and cool contests with great prizes. Admission and refreshments are free. The SGA Program Board will meet in the Student Center SGA office Thursday, Oct. 18, from 12:15 to 1 p.m. Plans will be finalized for Dig Pink, the pumpkin carving contest, and the Graveyard Gala costume party.
