Brandon Rethemeyer enters his eighth season as an assistant men's soccer coach and fifth season with Hagerstown Community College.

Prior to joining the HCC staff in 2008, Rethemeyer was an assistant coach for Frostburg State University, while earning his Master's Degree in Human Performance.  During that time he helped coach Frostburg State to 28-30-2 overall record and a 15-10-4 record in the conference. Each season, the Bobcats reached the AMCC semifinals and in 2007 FSU earned a berth in the ECAC tournament.  They would win two straight overtime games, before falling in the Championship game to Swarthmore in overtime.

A 2006 graduate of Frostburg State University (MD), Rethemeyer earned his BA in Health & Physical Education.  He was a goalkeeper for the Bobcats in the 2003 and 2004 seasons.  Rethemeyer transferred into FSU from Hagerstown Community College where he was goalkeeper for two seasons.

A 2001 graduate of Smithsburg High School, where he played alongside of  head coach Eichelberger.  He earned All County, All-Area, and All MVAL honors.

Rethemeyer also has trained overseas, playing in Scotland and England.  He competed against professional, semi-professional amatuer teams while touring the countries.  Rethemeyer holds his Regional Coaching Diploma with NSCAA.
