Dr. Marlys Palmer, Head Coach, enters her 29th season as Head Coach of the Women's basketball team. Coach Palmer's career record is 506-311. The team has posted 12 seasons with 20 plus wins, 5 Maryland JUCO State Championships, two Region XX Championships and two National Tournament appearances. The 1998-1999 team finished 27-8 and seventh in the nation. The Lady Hawks finished their 2001-02 season with a single season best record of 28-4 and Maryland JUCO champions. The 2006-07 team finished 24-7 and 2nd in the Maryland JuCo Conference.

Dr. Palmer is a graduate of Penn State University and is employed as a Professor of Health and Physical Education at Hagerstown Community College.
