Athletic, Recreation and Community Center (ARCC)

The HCC Foundation will hold its annual Tribute Dinner on Fri., March 23, at 7 p.m., in the college's Athletic, Recreation, and Community Center (ARCC). This year's tribute will honor community leaders and philanthropists Don and Jone Bowman. Cocktails will be held at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. Cost is $125 per person. Proceeds will benefit HCC student scholarships.

RSVPs are required. Please RSVP no later than March 5, 2012. 

The HCC Student Veteran's Club will meet in the 2nd flr. Conference Room of the ARCC on Wednesday, Feb. 8, at 2:30 p.m. New members are always welcome. For information, contact club advisor Bo Myers at rtmyers@hagerstowncc.edu.

The University of Maryland's Gymkana team will perform in the ARCC on Friday, Feb. 17, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. This is a fast-paced, exciting gymnastics team that will leave the audience breathless with it's highflying acrobatics. Gymkana made it to the semi-finals this year on America's Got Talent. Don't miss this terrific show, which promotes a healthy lifestyle to children of all ages. This event is open to the public, and admission is $1 per person.

HCC will hold its annual

The Annual Spring Job and Career Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the ARCC. Sponsored by The Herald-Mail Company, the One-Stop Job Center of Washington County, and HCC.

The HCC Student Government Association will collect canned food on Wednesday, Dec. 7, in the ARCC lobby during the women's and men's basketball games.  Donations will be given to the Salvation Army. The Hawks take on Cecil CC - women at 6 p.m., men at 8 p.m. Support the Hawks and support the Salvation Army by bringing a canned food item to the game. The Red Cross will hold a blood drive in the ARCC lobby from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 28. There will be a critical need for blood after the Thanksgiving weekend, so please donate if you are able. If you would like to reserve a time to donate, contact Heather Barnhart at hbbarnhart@hagerstowncc.edu.

HCC Clubs are encouraged to show your school spirit during CLUB NIGHT at the ARCC. There will be a pizza party for club members in the gym at 6:30 p.m. Then, watch the Hawks take on Frederick CC at 7 p.m. For information, contact Heather Barnhart at 240-500-2225 or hbbarnhart@hagerstowncc.edu.
