Athletic, Recreation and Community Center (ARCC)

20th Annual HCC Alumni Association Flower & Garden Show will be held on March 16 and 17 in the ARCC. Admission is $4. Event times: Sat., March 16, from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sun., March 17, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

The Health Care Career Expo will be held on Mon., May 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the ARCC. Expo exhibits will include health care employers, educational and training programs, and career counseling and resume preparation.

The 2012 Spring Nurses Pinning Ceremony will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the ARCC. For more information, call 240-500-2380.

The Mason Dixon Quilt Show will be held from 12 noon to 5 p.m. in the ARCC. General admission is $5. Free for children 12 and under. Proceeds benefit HCC Lady Hawks.

Student rehearsal for the 2012 graduation ceremony will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. in the ARCC. At  the rehearsal, graduates will receive important information about the ceremony and those that are receiving diplomas will also receive a hood to be worn with their academic attire.

Graduates will also receive their name cards.  Please make sure you bring these cards with you on Saturday morning for the ceremony. All graduates participating in the ceremony are expected to attend rehearsal. For more information call 240-500-2526.

The HCC Foundation will hold its annual Tribute Dinner on Fri., March 23, at 7 p.m., in the college's Athletic, Recreation, and Community Center (ARCC). This year's tribute will honor community leaders and philanthropists Don and Jone Bowman. Cocktails will be held at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. Cost is $125 per person. Proceeds will benefit HCC student scholarships.
