A guitar faculty concert will be held at 8 p.m. in the Kepler Theater. The concert will feature award-winning guitarists and HCC instructors Tobias Hurwitz and Candice Mowbray. Hurwitz and Mowbray will be performing solo pieces and duets from a variety of composers and musicians, such as J.S. Bach and Steve Vai, and will also be playing original compositions.

This annual event celebrate the end of the school year for the children in the pre-kindergarten classes at HCC's Children's Learning Center (CLC). The CLC invites the children and their families to attend. Event includes songs by the children, school activities slideshow, and ceremony in which each child receives a certificate. Following the event, lunch is held in the ARCC lobby.

HCC will host the annual Public Safety Awards ceremony on Thurs., May 17, beginning at 6:30 p.m., in the Kepler Center on HCC’s main campus.

The Public Safety Awards recognize officers who have served the citizens of Washington County in an exemplary manner during the past year. The public is invited to attend this event. Light refreshments will be served.
