The SGA will sponsor a free family movie night featuring, "Ghostbusters," on Thurs., Oct. 25, beginning at 7 p.m. This event is open to students, staff, and the public. Admission is one canned food item. Free snacks and prizes will be available. Costumes are encouraged.

Student Pumpkin Carving contest on Wed., Oct. 24, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and again from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Student Center. Prizes for first, second, and third place carvings. The monthly SGA Club meeting is held the third Thursday of each month at 3 p.m. in the Student Center Conference Room. If you want to keep up with what the campus clubs activities, or have a campus issue you would like to discuss, please come to the meeting.

The SGA Program Board will meet in the Student Center SGA office Thursday, Oct. 18, from 12:15 to 1 p.m. Plans will be finalized for Dig Pink, the pumpkin carving contest, and the Graveyard Gala costume party. Hagerstown Community College will host an information session for active duty military, veterans, and their families on Fri., Nov. 9, at 10 a.m. in the Student Center.

During the free session, attendees will get an overview of HCC, including information on veterans’ benefits, academic advising, financial aid, disability services, and the student-run veterans’ club. Tours of campus will be available.
