Italian Beginning I
Join native Italian, Elsa Proverbio-Bradford, to learn the fundamentals of the Italian language including: the alphabet, sounds, basic vocabulary, and elementary grammar.  This class uses everyday conversations to practice basic Italian language concepts.  Students gain a basic understanding and appreciation of the Italian language and culture.  (Textbook Required)

Italian: Beginning II
This course is for those who have an elementary knowledge or Italian or have taken Italian Beginning.  Increase your vocabulary; learn more advanced language structure and grammar.  Continue to develop reading, listening/comprehension and conversational skills.  This course is taught by a native Italian, Elsa Bradford.  (Textbook is the same as Italian Beginning)

Previously offered courses

Conversational Italian - Beginning
This course is for those who know a little Italian or have taken previous Italian courses and want to practice their skills.  Each night a different topic is covered such as greetings and niceties, food and ordering food, shopping, holidays, etc.  There is no textbook and the atmosphere is informal and fun!  Part of each session will be Total Immersion Italian.

Italian Conversation and Grammar
This course is for students that can communicate to an extent with more than memorized phrases. The course stresses conversation development and grammar. Students should speak Italian on an intermediate level or have taken at least three previous Italian courses.

Italian Crash Course
This is a short course to introduce students to basic Italian phrases and pronunciations. A great course for travelers or those that want to try Italian before committing to a longer course. Students will learn commonly-used phrases and greetings plus cultural considerations.

Italian Crash Course Continues
This course is a continuation of the Italian Crash Course. Students continue to learn basic Italian phrases and pronunciations and increase their Italian-speaking abilities.

Join native Italian, Elsa Bradford, for this short language and culture introduction to Italian travel. You will learn fundamentals of the Italian language, sounds and pronunciation, essential vocabulary for travel, and real-life situation commands.
