Sign Language: Basic II
Designed for those interested in continuing their studying of basic signs.  You will increase your vocabulary in signs.  Learn to recognize four- to six-letter words and use finger spelling, numbers, and signs to form sentences.  Prerequisite: LAN 004 Sign Language: Basic I.

Inspirational Signing
Students will learn the specific type of vocabulary used for Christian church services of all denominations.  Students learn inspirational terminology, songs, verses, and signs which will enhance their current working vocabulary when signing for services or events.  Prerequisite: Basic Sign II equivalent or higher.

Sign Language for Health Professions
This course is designed to train medical personnel how to communicate with deaf patients through the use of American Sign Language (ASL).  Emphasis is placed on enhancing patient care, facilitating registration and dismissal, reducing the deaf patient's fear and anxiety, and improving patient involvement in medical procedures.  No prior knowledge of Sign Language is necessary.

Sign Language: Basic I
A beginning course designed for those interested in learning to communicate with the deaf.  Begin to build your vocabulary as you are given the opportunity to learn and participate in the basic skills of total communication.  Learning the manual alphabet and basic signs are the primary focus for this course.  Linda Turner has been involved with Interpreting and teaching Sign Language for the past 30 years. (Textbook Required)

Sign Language: Basic Sign III
Join Denny Gladhill as you work together to increase your vocabulary.  You will be introduced to American Sign Language (ASL).  As you learn ASL, you will be given the opportunity to use your new skills. Prerequisite:  Basic Sign Language II or instructor's permission.  (Textbook Required)

Sign Language: Basic IV
Improvement of expressive and receptive fingerspelling skills will be incorporated.  Prerequisite: Sign Language: Basic III or equivalent.

Sign Language: Conversational Signing I
Join Linda Turner as you learn how to express ideas in American Sign Language.  Continue to improve your sign language reading skills.  Prerequisite: Basic Sign Language IV or instructor's permission. (Textbook required)

Sign Language: Conversational Signing II
You will learn ASL sentence structure as well as having ASL classifiers incorporated into class.  Prerequisite: Sign Language: Conversational I or instructor's permission.

Sign Language: Conversational Signing III
Join Denny Gladhill in this course that is designed to help you improve your ability to use sign language.  Continue to improve your sign language reading skills and gain better use of expressions and body language.  Prerequisite: Sign Language: Conversational II or instructor's permission.  (Textbook required)

Sign Language: Conversational Signing IV
Continue to improve your receptive sign language skills. Learn to recognize time, dates, numbers, and financial money signs.  Develop the necessary skills to communicate with the deaf with ease using both signing and reading signs. Prerequisite: Sign Language Conversational III or instructor's permission. (Textbook Required)

Sign Language: Conversational Signing V
This course is a continuation of Conversational Signing IV and is based on the textbook "Signing Naturally - Level 3".  Each unit focuses on building narrative skills and moving from informal to more formal presentations.  The textbook will also be used for Conversational Signing VI.  (Textbook required)
