The Art of Mixology

This course is an introduction to bartending and the art of mixology. It is designed for the home entertainer as well as those interested in a career in bartending. Students learn the basic bar set up, proper glassware, measuring tools, identification of various beers, wines, and liquors, as well as recipes for mixed drinks. The materials fee includes a bar tending kit as well as a text book. Students must be 21 years, of age (photo ID required) to enroll and to participate in the classroom activities. This class can be followed by the TAM certification class for those in need of professional certification.

TAM Certification

This course is designed for those who seek employment in the hospitality industry and are required by law or by employer policy to be TAM certified. Students who attend this class and pass the exam at the end of the session will receive their TAM certification. Attendees must be 18 or older and must present a Government issued ID for admittance to the class.
