Lead Paint Visual Inspector
This course is for those who want to be certified by the Maryland Department of the Environment to become Maryland certified lead paint visual inspectors. The emphasis will be on conducting visual inspections on residential properties as required by the Maryland Lead Poisoning Prevention Program. Students are required to pass an examination at the end of the course. There is an additional fee to MDE to apply for certification.

EPA Certified Lead Paint Renovator - RRP
The EPA 1465 Renovation, Repair and Painting Final Rule (40 CFR 745) requires that renovations conducted for compensation must be performed by certified firms using certified renovators. If your company works on pre-1978 homes and child-occupied facilities you must become certified. Our EPA approved course instructs you how to comply with the EPA RRP rule and the HUD Lead Safe Housing Rule and how to perform lead-safe work practices effectively. EPA certification provided by course provider ECTC.

Lead Paint Visual Inspector Refresher
This course meets the training requirements to maintain Maryland accreditation as a lead paint visual inspector. Emphasis is on new regulations, technologies, and products. This course is taught by Chris Gunther of ECTC.
