Notary Basic Principles
This course is for students that want to become Notaries or those that already have a commission and want to understand the Notary responsibility. The course covers the principles of notary public appointment, history, definitions, fraud prevention and terminology.  Students will learn where to locate and comply with MD Notary Law.

Notary Basic Practices
Students should first take Basic Notary Principles or have significant experience in Notary law and requirements for Maryland.  The course covers the practices of Notary Public appointment in the State of Maryland, record-keeping requirements, and performing acknowledgement and jurist notary acts.
