Personal Trainer Certification
Whether a career move or for your own personal knowledge, get all the information you need to become a CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER. This challenging course is taught over a 6-week period. The National Exam is held on the 6th and final day of class. The course includes 15 hours of "hands-on" practical training preparing you to actually work with clients one-on-one. The course also includes 15-hours of lectures covering anatomy, health screening, exercise physiology, nutrition, muscle and skeletal injuries, etc. Students must pass a written 100 questions exam on theoretical issues and pass a one-on-one practical skills exam. Students are required to complete a 30-hour internship within 6 months of completing the course. Students need to provide proof of CPR Certification and internship hours before certification will be granted. This course helps you prepare for the National Boards ( for details). The textbook is not included in the material fee - Students should order their books for an additional fee ASAP in order to begin studying prior to class. To order your books call 1-888-330-9487.
