Arthritis Exercise

Put a spring in your step! Regain flexibility and strength in this class designed around patterns of easy exercise that will improve range of motion, muscle strength, and endurance. This class begins with a warm up followed by strength training, core muscle exercises, low impact aerobics, cool down, and guided meditation. Light hand weights and resistance bands are used but are not required. Instructor will guide you through exercises done at your own pace, seated or standing.

Self Defense

Join Ron Sulchek and Russell Reese for this new program focusing on Women's Self-defense. This course includes: principles of avoidance and escape; principles of basic applied martial arts techniques in effective self-defense; the importance of balance and blending with movement in a self-defense situation; principles of situational awareness and practical habits to lessen one's exposure to dangerous environments; fitness principles such as strength, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness, particularly in regard to the impact of personal fitness on one's ability to perform self-defense techniques explored in class.
