Advanced Patient Care Skills

This course prepares RNs, LPNs, paramedics, EMTs and certified nursing assistants to work in hospitals and other health care settings as part of a multidisciplinary team caring for patients who require acute care as well as chronic care. The student will expand and deepen their skills in complex health care procedures including phlebotomy, electrocardiogram, glucose monitoring, intravenous therapy, wound care, stoma care, and urinary catheterization.
