This course is an introduction to light construction estimating for building contractors and remodelers.  Manual and computer methods of estimating are reviewed with focus on customizing the process to the student’s particular trade/business requirements.  Practical exercise is provided with hands-on estimating reinforcing each step of the estimating process.  Print reading and basic computer skills will aide the student in completing the course but are not required. (Textbook included in materials fee) Class Limit: 12

Electrical Wiring Part II

Participants will build on the basic skills l earned in the first level class. Instruction will include: 1) commercial wiring, 2) grounding electrical systems and equipment, 3) service work (breaker panels), 4) 240V circuits, and 5) specialty wiring. Prerequisite: Electrical Wiring Basic or one year trade experience. Students will also need basic tools including screwdriver, knife, and lineman’s pliers. (Textbook Required) Class Limit: 15
