Red, White and Blue Summer Concert Series

HCC’s Alumni Association recently announced its concert schedule for the ninth annual Red, White and Blue Summer Concert Series. All concerts are free and are open to the public.

Credit for Prior Learning available at HCC

HCC offers credit for prior learning and experience, which allows students to receive credits for previous college coursework, lifelong learning, and military and work experience.

Summer Writing Institute held August 2-3

HCC will offer the first Nora Roberts Writing Institute (NRWI) on Aug. 2 and 3. The retreat will offer breakout sessions on topics such as fiction crafting and publishing and will feature keynotes by several bestselling authors.

As a result of the College Readiness and Completion Act, a new Maryland law that goes into effect on July 1, 2013, HCC's ESSENCE Program will be undergoing several changes.

Dental Hygiene Program seeks accreditation

HCC's Dental Hygiene Program is currently being reviewed for accreditation by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA). Students, faculty, staff, and the public may submit comments regarding HCC's program.
