Download the free version of the apps and then in a web browser, select Micromedex from the list on the Brish Library’s Article Databases page. Click on the “mobileMicromedex” link at the top left of the page to find the password to activate your mobile access account. There are three apps to download. Note: As a Micromedex customer with free access through HCC, you will occasionally be asked to update your password. At that time, go back to the website to find the new password. Go to the EBSCOhost database, and log-in if you’re accessing it from off campus. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen. There will be a blue hyperlink: iPhone and Android Apps. (This will also work on iPads and Tablets). Enter your HCC email address into the box that comes up. You will be sent an email with the key and instructions. You only have one day to use this link, or you will need to submit your email again. Open up the email on your smart phone or tablet and follow the directions. The authentication key will be valid for 9 months. Download the app, and then open up the link from your tablet. You will now be able to use EBSCOhost and its 20 databases.
