You are invited to learn more about the Battle of Antietam and leadership techniques used to lead the troops with Dr. Tom Clemens during a bus/walking tour of the battlefield on Friday, April 26. Bus leaves from parking lot "O" at 9:30 a.m. and will return to campus at 2:30 p.m. Lunch is included. Please reserve your seat in the Student Activities Office or e-mail: hbbarnhart@hagerstowncc.edu with your choice of sandwich: turkey, ham, or veggie.

HCC has over 30 clubs on campus. Find out where you belong by attending the Spring 2013 Club Fair on Wed., Jan. 30, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the Student Center. Club reps will be on hand to give you information, answer questions, and sign you up to be a member. Attendees will have the chance to win a $50 Grub Buck card to use at the Valley Eatery/Hilltop Grill.

 Phi Beta Lambda will be having a bake sale in the Student Center and the Career Programs Building. The bake sale  will go on from 11:30am to 2pm. For more information please contact the club advisor, Jim Pierne at jgpierne@hagerstowncc.edu. 

HCC's Annual Black Student Union Flower Bomb Fashion Show will be held Saturday, February 2 from 7 to 9 p.m. in HCC's Kepler Center. Admission is $5 for HCC students with HCC ID, and $7 for community members. HCC students and employees are invited to bring their families to the annual HCC Holiday Dinner and Carols with Mark Rust on Friday, Dec. 7, 6 to 8 p.m. in the Student Center. This evening is filled with your family's favorite carols from around the world, led by professional musican Mark Rust. Due to limited seating, advanced reservations are necessary.

The SGA Program Board will meet Tuesday, Nov. 27, at 2:30 p.m. in the Student Center SGA room. All credit students are encouraged to join this fun group and help plan activities for the upcoming spring semester. For information, contact Heather Barnhart at hbbarnhart@hagerstowncc.edu.

The HCC Humanitarian Club hosts a viewing of the movie, "Homeless To Harvard," on Thursday, Nov. 15, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Hilltop Grill. HCC’s Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) business club is hosting a meeting open to all HCC students on Thurs., Nov. 8, 2:30 to 4 p.m. in the Career Programs Building Room 210. 

Bonnie Saunders, HCC coordinator of internships and job services, will conduct a Resume Writing Workshop.  In addition, Mr. Michael Weiss, of Weiss Brothers Company in Hagerstown, will talk about his business and potential internships or job opportunities he may have available.
