2012 Pumpkin Carving Contest

Student Pumpkin Carving contest on Wed., Oct. 24, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and again from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Student Center. Prizes for first, second, and third place carvings. Dress in your goulish best and don't miss out on the fun of this year's student Halloween party, The Graveyard Gala. The dance will be Friday, Oct. 26, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the Student Center. The dance is for HCC credit students plus one guest age 16 or older. There will be a professional DJ, great food, and cool contests with great prizes. Admission and refreshments are free. The Robinwood Players Theater Club is looking for new members and will hold a recruiting open house during their next meeting on Monday, Oct. 8, at 4 pm in the Kepler dressing rooms. Any student with an interest in theater, no matter your major, is encouraged to join this active club. The club is involved with all of the College theater productions, plus members organize their own special events, travel to professional productions, and more!

AIGA Adobe CS6 Workshop

AIGA Workshop

Students in Hagerstown Community College’s AIGA Club are partnering with the Blue Ridge AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Artists) and the Adobe Corporation to host an Adobe Creative Suite 6 (CS6)  workshop on Thurs., Oct. 11, from 5:30 to 9 p.m., in the Career Programs Building on HCC’s main campus.

Refreshments will be served at 5:30 p.m., and the presentation will begin at 6 p.m. in the Career Programs Building, rooms 212 and 214. Admission is free for HCC students, faculty, and staff, as well as for AIGA members. Non-AIGA members can attend for $10.
